Legal
Privacy Notice
Last updated 25 October 2026. This is a draft for review and will be finalised with legal counsel before launch.
1. Who we are
DeeISP360 Ltd provides the DeeISP360 platform to internet service providers. This notice explains how we handle personal data, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
2. Our two roles
For information about the people who apply, sign up and use the platform on behalf of an ISP (for example the owner's name, email and phone), we are the data controller.
For the ISP's own subscribers' data held in their portal, the ISP is the controller and we are their processor: we process it only on their instructions to provide the service.
3. What we collect
When you apply or contact us we collect:
- Company details: legal and trading name, KRA PIN, registration number and location
- Contact details of the owner and staff: names, emails, phone numbers and roles
- Documents you upload to verify the company
- Network details you give us, such as POP count and router models
- Technical data when you use the site or portal, such as IP address, device and sign-in times
4. Why we use it
To assess your application, create and secure your portal, send invites and sign-in codes, provide support, bill you, meet legal obligations, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, SMS and email delivery, payment processing), each under contract and only as needed; and authorities where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
Applications that are not approved are deleted after 12 months. Account data is kept while you are a customer and for 90 days after, then deleted, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable form. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited by role and two-step sign-in, and sensitive actions are logged. See our Security page.
